Talk Abstract:
Mobile is the "new-old" thing. For over a decade entrepreneurs and investors have pitched a "limitless" opportunity for mobile. Yes, there have been some terrific companies created, particularly in Massachusetts. But has the promise of mobile been delivered upon? Has the opportunity played out? Or are we about to witness a new chapter in innovation?
The past few years have seen a total disruption in the use of mobile devices in the enterprise. C-level executives have been walking in with personal devices with the expectation and demand of using them for work. This has created challenges for the enterprise and opportunities for startups to provide innovative enterprise solutions. The talk will cover the enterprise challenges and opportunities. Will also provide an overview of a unique solution built by ForgePond Inc where the speaker is a co-founder.
