Q: What does NECINA stand for? A: New England Chinese Information & Networking Association.     Q: I don’t want to be a member yet, but may I be on NECINA’s email list? A:   Yes, you can subscribe to NECINA’s email list by visiting http://www.NECINA.net and can find where to input your email to be added into the box of subscribe section the mailing list.  You can unsubscribe from our email list by sending email to remove@necina.org     Q: Do I need to be an engineer to become a member of NECINA? A:   No.  We welcome people from all professions.  NECINA had a strong root in network computing industry.  Over the years our connection has expanded to diverse fields including software, eBusiness, BioIT, finance, business and other professionals.     Q: Do I need to be a Chinese to join NECINA? A:   No.  Even though NECINA was founded by Chinese, and majority of members are Chinese, we welcome professionals from all backgrounds and experiences to join NECINA.     Q: How much is the membership due? A:   Our annual membership fee is $30, student membership fee is $15.  NECINA operates on fiscal year schedule. Our membership due is in January each year.

Q:	How do I pay my membership due?
A:	Click on the "Membership" link on the left hand side menu then click on the "Click To Join" button to pay with credit card online or by check.  You can also become a member or renew your membership at a NECINA event.
Q:	What are the benefits of becoming a member?
A:	The most talked about benefit is NECINA’s conferences.  Each year NECINA will hold 6-7 conferences with hot topics for different industries or fields.  These conferences are free of charge to paying members.  The conferences not only provide each industry’s development trend, but also opportunities for members to network with other professionals.  For other benefits and other events in our annual plan, visit: www.necina.net

A:	Receive a reminder by entering your email at membership@NECINA.org
Q:	My email has changed, how do I update it?
A:	You can log in at NECINA’s website to update your personal information.  If you forgot your username or password, you can use the password reminder by entering your email address.  We will send you the login and password to the email address we have in our member database.  If you still need help, please send email to membership@NECINA.org, you can also include your contact updates in the same email.
